An illustrated cover, Tuscany and a culinary journey – now, if that ain’t a recipe (duh) for a wonderful book, then what is? We like that this book is not full of that modern molecular stuff, which is quite fascinating but also total abracadabra. The structure of the book is dead simple. After introducing on of ten Tuscan cities – the birthplace of Italian Cuisine, its typical produce is described, followed by one or two doable recipes. Pretty pictures, good typography. Delizioso!
