I enjoy architecture. In fact it’s a line of work that I would have aspired, creating things that last. At the end of the previous century Phaidon published The Phaidon Atlas of 20th Century World Architecture. To publish that book back then made perfect sense. It was a huge success and Phaidon just couldn’t wait another century to produce the next atlas. And they didn’t. In 2008 they already introduced a new volume, covering the best architecture of the 21st century- so far. The moment is doubtful but it’s a great architectural collection, as well as a practical resource book - full of stuff I wish I had created.
The Phaidon Atlas is seriously sized and comes in a nifty green box.
