Here at MENDO we’re not so much into book series. Too often it simply is commercial exploitation - like The Hangover 2, you’d better not go there. But for some reason we cannot resist Taschen’s Architecture Now! series. The production is far from spectacular but in terms of content these books are just fine. The photography is good, it’s multi-lingual and it actually reflects what inspiring stores, museums, architecture or bars & restaurants should look like. This one is, like the title says, all about unique shopping experiences. To our opinion one shop is missing - duh - but for the rest: Architecture Now! Shopping is Taschen at its best - good value for a very reasonable price.
