Weighty. I’m not sure if that is the proper English word, but it’s the one that comes to mind when I leaf through this book. This book is about working spaces and living spaces of artists and what I hope is to see fun places, great pictures and exciting stories. All elements are in the book, but for some reason - because it is about art? - people start to tense up, use very serious words and call these working spaces sanctuaries. Sanctuaries! I mean, holy...! Lighten up a little, will you. Making art is having fun, isn’t it? But the book itself is beautiful and heavy - weighty.
