The Creativity Watchlist
Ambiguous is the word for this one. First of all it took me through a rollercoaster of ideas plus I had quite a few “why didn’t I come up with that” moments. At the same time, I don’t get it- the entire book, no idea what it is about because I can’t grasp it. Okay, so I understand it’s a brilliant mixture of cutting-edge art, installations, 3D type, street art, photography, typography, design and illustration. And that’s the point. Type = Art and an Installation = Graphic Design. People are not sticking to their medium anymore. That’s cool but also terrifying. I emphasize with the idea, but at the same time it causes a mental error 404. I guess this is the way things are today- nothing is what it seems. Now, if you think this is a weird book review, then you get my point and you get the idea of this book.
