It’s a portrait of our era. Big names, glamour, beauty, celebs, temptation, America. Dominated by Matt, Julia, Britney, Fergie, Orlando, Gwyneth, Cameron and Mariah. Sure, it is plastic, but this is probably how our generation will remember the 2000s. And Michael Thompson captured that perfectly. Now let’s pretend it is 2041. Can you imagine our era looks so hopelessly old-fashioned but strangely romantic as Weddings & Movie Stars looks to us now? Tough.
