Marc Lagrange

Marc Lagrange (1957, Belgium) has achieved something extraordinary. He’s a photographer and he focuses on female nudes. Now, you know photography and nude women are a combination that is very much appreciated at your local garage workshop, but not often has it infiltrated in the world of fine art. With his sexy chic photography Marc Lagrange made that happen. Art aficionados have embraced his work and although we haven’t been able to visit one of Marc’s exhibitions yet, we were told that the large prints are super impressive. Judging by the impact of the book - celebrating 20 years of Marc’s high-brow nude photography - we can easily imagine that.
Coincidentally we got this book the week before Sinterklaas, which is a traditional Dutch holiday starring a somewhat historical figure wearing a religious hat called a miter - just like that gorgeous lady on the cover of Lagrange’s book. You can imagine our shopping window got a lot of attention that week.
This book was also published in an XL limited edition but that was already sold out before it was actually published. If you like to be updated on rare publications like this, be sure to subscribe to our newsletter or join us on Facebook or Twitter.
