Linda McCartney
Life In Photographs
This is not the first photography book from Linda McCartney. In fact it was in 1967 when she worked on Rock and Other Four Letter Words, that she met Paul. This opened a world of opportunities and made her life as a photographer a lot easier, for she did not have to chase musicians and celebrities anymore - she just had to follow her husband & friends. Putting it this way doesn’t do justice to her qualities as a photographer, though. Life in Photographs clearly shows Linda McCartney was a very skilled photographer who knew what she was doing and has inspired many female photographers who followed in her footsteps. Therefore this book - beautiful size and paper texture by the way - is very well deserved. And that picture from a two year old Stella in Jamaica (1972) is to die for.
