Jean Paul Gaultier

It was about time! Finally a huge book about fashion’s enfant terrible Jean Paul Gaultier. And a good one it is. The book combines all that we love so much about books. First impression, it looks as if it costs at least € 150.00, but its € 80.00 price tag is surprisingly friendly. The book is very well designed, the quality of the printing is simply amazing and the content, well... that’s outer space creativity. We are no Gaultier connoisseurs, but we were sort of expecting an outburst of extravaganza, but in fact it is the most wonderful mixture of fashion, theatre and erotica, brought in a truly vivid and energetic way - not the least by the quality of the photographers Gaultier worked with. Therefore this is serious wish list material. Big up, Abrams Books!
