Many books have been published about celebrated fashion photographer Herb Ritts (1952 - 2002) The Golden Hour for the first time reveals the personal aspects of Herb Ritt’s world. Of the dead, nothing but good, but if it was up to us, we prefer focusing on the works rather than the person. A photographer should speak in images. In this book you need to do some decent digging to find what Ritts did best, taking pictures. Then again, that picture on page 24 of a blond Cindy Crawford, Malibu 1993, is plenty of reason already to buy the book and take all that in crowd / best friends blah blah for granted.
