Heaven to Hell

David LaChapelle is one of those photographers we love to hate, or hate to love. Either way we’re grateful to the guy because we’ve sold a zillion of his books. And frankly, if you don’t have a LaChapelle book at home, you should be ashamed and press ‘buy’ right away, because no other photographer can compete with LaChapelle. Whether you like it or not, he brought everything together: shocking scenery, technique, celebs, metaphors, madness, executed in the best way ever. Who is going to exceed that? Nobody, probably. Thus, the end. And we’re stuck with Heaven to Hell for many more years to come.
