Fuse

Little books in cardboard boxes. If you ask us it’s not the winning combination. Strange to have this coming from Taschen who, like no other, knows how to design attractive books that are loved by many. Then again, FUSE is all about antimatter. FUSE is an experimental typeface publication launched by Neville Brody and Jon Wozencroft in 1991. Each issue was constructed around a theme, inviting four designers to produce a typeface and posters. Fonts were loaded on to floppy discs (cool!) and packaged in a brown cardboard box. This book is a compilation of edition 1 to 18, containing contributions from the best contemporary thinkers in typeface design, like Spiekermann, Sagmeister and Saville. Plus it countains the never-before published editions FUSE19 and FUSE20 are included. Plus it comes with a keycard to download fonts from these issues. Plus it comes with 10 exclusive posters. And that makes this a very big little book in a cardboard box.
