Okay, now close your eyes and try to imagine how a Berlin-based artist, illustrator, gallery owner, architect, graphic designer, fashion design lives and works. Well, that image you had... it’s probably spot on. And since Freunde von Freunden Berlin is all about that, the book is what you expect: quite inspiring in terms of interior, decent photography, and pretty good text. But not totally new. I mean, portraying people of diverse creative and cultural backgrounds in their homes or their daily working environments - didn’t we see that before in The Selby. Then again, a bit of competition is always good and the FvF website is much nicer.
