Flashback

Flashback is not the newest book we have. We have sold it since it was published in 2009 and we will sell it as long as we can - unfortunately the publisher says it is officially out of stock now. What’s so nice about it? In our pixel driven world Flashback celebrates graphic designers who use styles and techniques from the vivid 20th century as their source of inspiration. The common word for this is r-e-t-r-o, a dreadful word because it’s empty - like hip or trendy. Anyway, Flashback is one of those delightful books in terms of paper, color, scent and content. With a cardboard wrap, gold foil and embossed details, fine type and wonderful, really wonderful graphic design. Yep, we like this.
