Dutch Architects And Their Houses
This book is an invitation to the homes of Dutch architects and feeds our inner voyeurist. And it is a very handy book as well. Imagine yourself looking for an architect. Would you go for architect A who claims, in his house "you won't find a single place larger than a floor tile that isn't being used"? Or would you prefer architect B who "enclosed the steel construction in plasterboard for insulation, then covered it in pigmented stucco for aesthetic reasons"? We would definitely go for architect B - and that obviously has nothing to do with the fact that architect B just so happens to be a frequent visitor of MENDO.
