Deus ex Machina
You probably have seen the caps and may have wondered: "What's all that Deus about?" Here's the book that explains it all. Deus ex Machina (god from the machine) is from down under, celebrating anything that is creative, authentic and fun - motorcycles, surfing, cycling, whatever. Their stores have funky names like The Temple of Enthusiasm and The Emporium of Postmodern Activities. In short, it's a grown up boys workshop.
What's fun: they also organize swap meets, which were a completely new phenomena to me. Turns out these are flea market like events, where customers and enthusiasts swap, sell and exchange parts. For swap meets near you (haha) visit their web site. If you're unable to visit one of the swap meets or one of their stores, get the book. In The Netherlands the Deus ex Machina book is exclusively sold by MENDO.
