Daphne Guinnes
Writing is weird. By writing one thing you can actually say the complete opposite. This Ms. Guinness is a style icon who obviously has a lot of money and is an heiress in a seriously posh family. Basically she’s famous for being famous. No worries, plenty of reason to make her the subject-matter for a book. But why justify it by saying things like “Ms. Guinness is far more than a great couture client” and “Her persona is her own masterpiece”. This doesn’t add to her credibility. Think away all the text and you’ll see this woman is the ultimate mannequin slash living billboard for fashion designers slash style icon and since she is the spitting image of her grandmother, she’s got a lot of years to come working on her status. We hope she will be filling many books - but without the text. Then again, it’s kinda fun to read and it gives us something to whine about.
