Colour Hunting
How Colour Influences What We Buy, Make And Feel
At first we had our doubts about this book. The sub-line is ‘How Colour Influences What We Buy, Make and Feel’. That belongs to the ‘Advanced Pants Knitting’ and ‘How to Watercolor Paint a Horse’ section. Besides, it has a lot of text, considering that it’s a book about colour and design. We would expect something like Vivid! But Frame approaches the use and influence of colour from a very interesting perspective. Authors, designers and artists explain what colours do to them. This results in a very useful but also entertaining book. We love what Jim Morrisson has to say about our favorite non-colour, black: ‘Actually I don’t remember being born, it must have happened during one of my black outs.’
