Albert Watson

We must admit we had never heard of Albert Watson before this book. Turns out that this is kinda strange. In over 40 years this man has achieved everything possible in fashion and commercial photography. Watson's photos have been on hundreds of covers for Vogue and Rolling Stone, he has worked for all the big brands you can imagine and he has even been exhibited in museums. Leafing through the book we noticed we know a lot of his work. Among them is a very famous photo of an 18-year old Kate Moss. To date, she says it is one of the best photos ever taken from her. A mysterious buyer clearly agreed, as he recently paid € 25,000 for it.

Another iconic photo from Watson is the one he shot from Steve Jobs and that more or less served as his final image. Albert Watson, for a man who is blind on one eye since his birth, he did pretty good. Albert Watson is a name we will never forget.
