A New Kilo
KesselsKramer
If you have never heard of KesselsKramer we envy you, because you are at the verge of entering a world of amazing ideas by the most groundbreaking advertising agency in The Netherlands. The Amsterdam-based agency is world-famous for their Hans Brinker campaigns, a Dutch budget hotel they quite rightly positioned as the worst hotel in the world. In 2005 KesselsKramer published 2 Kilo, an ugly brick-like book with all their work so far. A New Kilo (no page numbers but adding grams per page) is its successor with only new work, including their designs and campaigns for our friends at citizenM. The work of KK is often humorous or even absurd, but for some reason they are always able avoid the laugh-or-I-shoot-you level. Also check Artoons and the In almost every picture series. Worthwhile: check the church they are based in, in Where They Create.
